The process begins with a bronze base metal using 90% Bronze, 8% Copper and 2% Bright Copper the immersed in a five step process including 2% of total in 23 k Gold, 40% 18 k Gold, 30% in 18 k Gold, again 20% in 18 k Gold and finished with 8% 23 k Gold. The total Gold baths equal 12 thousandths, composition of 18 k Gold: 79% Gold, 19% Copper and 6% Cadmium.
